Apprentice delivers comprehensive IT solutions to the public sector (think local government) by providing well engineered and highly useful products & services, listening to our clients, customizing technology solutions to fit each client like a glove, and supporting them with their IT problems, and thus improving the daily work-life of our clients and enabling our governments to run more smoothly. It’s fun! We have a positive and casual culture in which each team member can make a real impact. We believe in working in a way that glorifies God, honors our families, and makes the client the boss. We operate more like a family than a corporation. Each Monday, we share a hot meal together in our office, and we have breakfast (and a team pow-wow) on Fridays. We place a high value on collaboration, so a lot of your work will be team-based. And we love our clients! Most of our client contracts are very long-term, so we get to know them like family too. This makes the work we do very rewarding.

It’s not all about the money for you, and neither is it with us. But, yes, Apprentice offers competitive compensation, and most positions include a pay increase after an initial 90-day review, and then annual increases each January. We get a Christmas bonus each year too – enough for some fun presents for the kid in your family (maybe yourself?).

Apprentice provides an excellent benefits package to all of our full-time employees. We want you to be heathy, so this includes fully paid Major Medical. Yep, we pay 100% of your monthly medical insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arkansas).

We also offer fully paid life insurance, as well as optional Supplemental Life, Dental, Vision, Short and Long-Term Disability and more. Apprentice has a Retirement plan with 100% matching contributions up to 3%.

We agree – you work hard - so you need time to play hard. So we offer 7 paid holidays, 2 personal days, 10 vacation days, and 5 sick days. That’s 25 days of paid time off per calendar year, and the vacation time expands with tenure. Oh, and just to be sure you are in shape to go play hard, we provide $20 per month for a gym membership.
